BG: Choco Stripes

In line with the Choco Polka dots that I have posted yesterday, I thought of creating another choco coated background image. This time, it is striped design.

Chocolate colored designs are yummy for the eyes and are good for backgrounds because the color is dark.

BTW, October is almost done. Here comes November. I am thinking it would be nice if I do the same thing as what I did on October, I will post my clip arts collection. Stay tuned!!!

BG: Choco Polka Dots

The last piece but certainly not the least of my Polka Dots Collection. I have five of them and to count off, we have The Green Polka Dots The Yellow Polka Dots, The Pink Polka Dots, The Blue Polka Dots and this one, the Choco Polka Dots. What I love about this is the fact that this is chocolate like colored. I feel like eating chocolates now.

I just figured out that it is almost November and Halloween is just around the corner, so Happy Halloween guys! I am wondering what will be my costume in the coming Party on Sunday. I will need to go to the mall for that! Tell me your own costumes too!

BG: Blue Polka Dots

Third of my Polka dots collection.

First was the Yellow Polka Dots and second on the list was the Pink Polka Dots.

You would know the very very simple trick on how the background color was changed.

BG: Pink Polka Dots

As promised, I have here the other color variations of my polka dot design. The first one was the Yellow Polka Dots which was published yesterday. I will not be talking further about this since I have already told you the story behind this at the Yellow Polka Dots post.

BG: Flesh Polka Dots

It isn't New Year yet and I have no idea why this idea came up to my mind, I just knew that I am creating a background image with white polka dots on it. Actually, this design has a lot of variations and I will be posting the rest of the other color variations here in the following days. As of now, let us just focus on this one first.

So, going back what I like about this image is that the polka dots were properly placed. First thing that I was doing this morning was that I was just brushing on the layer and then the polka line came up. I duplicated the polka layer and then placed or arranged it in a way that it looks like windowing the every other polka lines until the final image. Actually, I had lowered the brightness of the polka lines because it was hurting my eyes.

BG: Pink Stripes

Stripes are still the basic background style for digital scrapbooks. Every kit or set has this style. If you search it on the web or even in book stores or other school supply stores, stripes can't be absent. Realizing this, I was encouraged to create another one.

I named this pink stripes because the main color here is the dark pink one. If you look at it, you would think I had also added the pink lines but the real thing here is that the pink color was the first layer which covered the whole page. The other colors were just added as rectangle shapes.

BG: flowery

Flowers are simple yet it is refreshing when added to a plain background color. Same as with this background photo that I had personally made at our office. Lol. Yes, you read it right, I was doing photoshop while waiting for a call to come in. Isn't that super nice?

Actually, when I just arrived at the office, someone has already occupied it since we don't really have a permanent seat plan. I was kinda disappointed because I was already anticipating that I will be photoshoping the entire shift. Without a choice, I sat on the station right next to where my favorite unit is. I prepared my tools and when I was browsing to the program files, I was surprised! Alas! The unit also has a Photoshop program. Yehey! Now I have two favorites units and then started the plan I had before - Photoshop!

BG: checkered

The background image for today was inspired by a checkered blouse I saw when I was just roaming around the town. I just thought it was a good design. At first I was kinda hesitant because of the colors that I had used before finalizing it with a light orange color.

I may create more checkered patterns in the future but for now, you can download this one first.

BG: Polka Dots

It looks like New Year is coming, actually not. New Year isn't coming yet but I had been inspired with this Polka dots background image. I like how the dots blended with the pink background and that it seemed to be complementing each other.

I made this manually including the alignment and on how they were arranged. I used the basic brush here and attempted a lot of colors which can blend with black and pink worked out perfectly.

BG: Raffled-Edged

This is a cute background image. I was inspired by this shirt with some raffles at its edges and thought of creating something like it and I ended up with this thing. Even though it is not perfect but I still see it as something cute. I named it as "Raffled-Edged" totally because it has raffles.

I finished with just the raffles but I have also decided to add something on the bottom and that is the running stitch. It is just a spice for the background image and I like it.

BG: Colorful

I fell in love with this one here. I am totally amazed how they worked good with each others colors. Light and baby colors are really perfect when matched with a darker shade. Their sizes doesn't matter as long as they are distributed evenly.

I used Adobe Photoshop CS2 for this image, I haven't use CS2 for a long time so I was having trouble at first, I was adjusting to the interface and that there were a couple of functions working on a CS4 and which isn't working on a CS2. One good example is on CS4, I can just highlight a layer and hit the delete key on my keyboard and it deletes the layer but it the other way around with CS2. Hitting the delete key won't do anything. You can never delete a specific layer by that, unless you click on the trash icon on the layer tab.

BG: flowerful

When I was just a little girl, I would always draw flowers and it made me happy every time I do that. Whenever I get bored, I would get my pen and my notebook or anything to write on and start scribbling to the pages. The first image that you would see is a flower definitely. So for now, I would like to go back of being a kid and published here the background image which has nothing but simple flowers on it.

BG: Circles Again for the Second Time

I am kinda attached to circles these days. I am at work and there was nothing to do because of the availness, meaning, calls come in rarely so I decided to create another background design. The only available brushes are those that are preset on photoshop like basic, calligraphic, square brushes etc. So I picked up the circle brush and started randomly clicking on the page which I have filled with a very light green color.

I ended up liking it and tadaa!! it's now part of my background collection. Hope you liked it too!!!

BG: I am In love

I think I'm in love right now, not because of any man or guy out there but because of my blog and the thought that I was able to share my creations to everyone is such a great feeling. And then I just thought I can create a background today at work with hearts all over it.

So, the output is the picture above. Hope you like it! Thanks for following my blog and embracing the same passion that I love.

BG: Green Shaded Circles

If you have noticed, yesterday's post and this one has something in common. It is too obvious actually, the shades or shall I say the colors used. I have used the same since I like it how they dwell well. They were like pink shades that goes along with each other. They have something in them that enjoys each other color's presence.

Aside from lines, circles are my second option when it comes to designs. Lines and circles are like one two and three. If one is present, there should be number two.

BG: Green Shaded Lines

This is just a continuation of yesterday's post, Pink Shaded Lines. Obvious as it is, it's another line shade background design. Lines are simple yet elegant if you just put the correct shades. Even if you are simply shading the lines randomly by a specific color shade, it will look awesome and creative. Just like this one, there is actually no regulation on what color to put on a line. I just filled it randomly and resulted to this one.

You try it but if you want to just grab this, click on the download here button below!

BG : Pink Shaded Lines

This is one of my favorites because it is colored pink. Lol. Seriously, I consider this as one of my favorites because first, I love pink shades, I love how the color fades and darkens but still it is good and lovely, it shows complete girly side. Second, this was like my first attempt and it came out really nice. I like the combination of the brush on the top and bottom parts. The brush here is the halftone type and it did not destroy the looks of the page.

Wanna grab it? Just click on the download button below right away.

Octoberfest BGs: Flower Hearts

It is not Hearts' day or Valentines Day but I had this background created way back last February so apologies for the late post, well this blog had been created way beyond February so no worries.

Anyways, this is just one of my favorite backgrounds for scrapbooks, this can be used either your subject is the children or a lover. It  actually blends with it and carries it right through.

Stationery Sheets: Certified Handmade

Way back in grade school and in my secondary years, I was addictive to stationeries and those cute scented papers packed with envelops. I have like a box full of my stationery collections. I would always ask my brother who is taking his college here in Cebu to buy me four to five packs of stationeries when he goes home to Bohol. I would usually use four sheets and leave the other two for my collection, there were stationeries which have glitters as well and different cut shapes.

As mentioned above, those are mostly scented papers as well. I have a ton of them, literally, and even now, if I go to a bookstore, I am still attracted to those cute lovely stationeries.
