"You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.”-Matthew 5:14 ESV
It is quite amazing that we are called by Jesus as the light of the world whilst He also refer Himself as the light of the world and whoever follows Him shall not walk in darkness according to the book of John.
Such a privilege and blessing to be referred as something like Jesus. However, there are so many things that distracts us from following the light and becoming the light. In my life, I had done a lot of mistakes and sins. I am not proud of them and I am glad that Jesus paid it all. I believe that God has forgotten all of my sins from the past and in the future. He is now seeing the glory of Jesus instead of my sinfulness and to that, I turn to worship and awe.
How are we doing with our light? I hope that we are able to still shine even in this dark world. Remember that our light is a reflection of Jesus' light and we out to show that to the world.
