BG : Tuesday Flower Pack

As promised, here's a new background image set made out of the flowers which I had created yesterday. I used the Procreate application on my iPad to draw this with the help of an YouTuber whom I found on Instagram, Teela of EveryTuesday and that's why I named this as Tuesday Flowers.

I made a new scrapbook layout idea after number of years of hiatus. Please accept my apologies for this. I am glad that I still have this blog to keep up when things get easier and less busier for me. There were so many things that had happened throughout the years. I can't remember the last time I had posted a scrapbook layout here and I almost lost the courage to update this but here I am again, seven years after, with a huge belly now because I am pregnant, yes I got married in the year 2015, then I had an ectopic pregnancy on 2017 and finally got pregnant again last year 2019.

Now that I am taking these lightly, I finally got the chance to make a comeback and create digital scrapbooks once again which is my first love.

Scrapbook Layout Idea: My Baby Love

Hello everyone! Here's a new entry for July, I seldom post because of work but I was able to make one today because of my little niece's pictures. I had these photos published in my Facebook account before she turned two last February of this year.

Now that I am far from the family, I am missing this little kid. I could not take photographs of her anymore. She started going to school now and I learned from my parents that she has been doing good in school. She's in a private kindergarten school and there are only five of them in the morning class and she has been excelling for the past few weeks of school. I am so proud of my niece.

Scrapbook Layout Idea: Love Peace Music

I made this template more than two months ago when I was still in the Philippines and I don't have any work anymore, I got the chance of making a couple of templates for me and James as well as for my niece and family. When I arrived in Dubai and started looking for job until I landed on a job, I was never been able to post anything anymore in this blog site which made me really miss blogging. I am thankful to Ramadan because I have spare time after work since we are just gonna work for only six hours plus a mandatory two hour overtime so I am just working eight hours per day.

So since it is also my rest day today and I don't have any other things to do, I got the chance to post something for my scrap-booking website, this just made my day! 

The photos in the template were taken way before I resigned from my job in Cebu. James and I together with some friends went to have some karaoke session and our good friend, Carlo took these portraits of us together. I thought these photos are worth to be added on a scrapbook template and I was never wrong indeed.

Scrapbook Layout Idea: Perfect Moment

Hello guys! I want to let you all know that I am now residing here in Al Satwa Dubai. It's my first week and things are totally different, the place, the people, the technology and most specially the weather.

The reason why I am posting this is mainly because I am missing my best friend, my boyfriend for almost five years now and my confidante. He is the only person whom I can trust everything, though I have close friends whom I also share my secrets but James is the only person who I can tell everything under the sun and I am confident that these conversation stays within ourselves. I am missing him especially when I go roam around the city, I remember the times when we go travel together too in the Philippines. I wish I can let him see what I am seeing right now and share with him my thoughts while riding on the trains or the buses. And when I watched the dancing fountain here in Dubai in front of Burj Khalifa building, the tallest hotel in the whole world, I really want him with me but unfortunately, it’s impossible that time.

Scrapbook Layout Idea: Through The Years

Two months - looking at my last post made me sad today, it was dated February 3, 2013 and today, it's been two long months that I hadn't updated this blog here. I was indeed busy for the past two months, a lot of stuffs happened and there are soo many different changes of my life with that span of time. First was that I resigned from my four year work as a customer agent representative last April 15, 2013. I started working in the call center right after college, year 2009 and this was my ever first job experience. Though the job has given me enough for my needs, I have a family who also needs and I want to save as well so I finally decided to go to a foreign country for work. My brother is already there and he is preparing my papers for my flight. I will soon be going there this May and I am excited yet quiet scared about the thought.

Glad I earned some inspiration in making two scrapbook pages today. Because I am leaving my boyfriend behind, I am making some our photographs into scrapbook pages. I hope I'll get the time and courage to print all of these pages I made soon. We have been in this relationship since college, that's almost five years. The photos here shows how we evolved, teehee.

Chevron Background Image

Before, if my mind recalls right, I have a couple of background images inspired from this zigzag type of image. In fact I also had named it zigzag. While writing this post, it makes me laugh at myself because of my terrible memorization skills. I wonder if I have a memory disease, in Jesus Name!

Anyway, the reason why I am recalling it because I had just found a cute blogpost about an illustrator renewing her pair of old Chuck Taylor sneakers. She made chevron designs on it using a plain black marker. Then I just learned that this design should be called chevron and not just the simple zigzag design.

I made these then and I had so much fun making them! I made six color varieties and I am giving them away for free! Yepey! Well, I realize I am always giving my designs for free since then.

Scrapbook Layout Idea: Vintage Postcard

I have this special kind of love for anything vintage, I may have already shared this before and that I foresee the future of me collecting things like this since before. And because of that, I enjoy making scrapbook layouts with a vintage theme on it. It makes me want to go to the old times, though I am not a history-fan.

Therefore, I made up this vintage-inspired scrapbook layout yesterday, I have this script background image which I use for my background and found this cute postcard image via the internet and made it as the main ingredient on this specific lay out. I already forgot where I downloaded this one, there’s a variety of vintage postcards in that site but I regret that I never bookmarked it. Tsk tsk tsk…

The photos has been edited with a pre-made action in Photoshop, there are thousands if not millions of actions in Photoshop which can be downloaded via the internet if you just try to search for it. I have downloaded tons of them before but haven’t tried checking on all of them or even used them so far. In case you aren’t familiar with actions yet, it can be compared to a template, except that it can be played again and again to give a specific effect to a certain picture. This one that I used here is named Coffee, I had to delete some of the layers of the action which had suit how I like it to be.

Scrapbook Layout Idea: It's our Love Story

Most people say that majority of long relationships end once they reach their fifth year, James and I had been together since we were both in college. And we will soon be celebrating our fifth anniversary this August. I have never been scared about the fifth anniversary thingy but I couldn't help but think about what might happen when that time comes. 

I don't know if I have shared our story to you however, at this point I would like to somehow share a little bit of how we started and how are we right now.

As I been telling you, James and I are college classmates since first year, actually way before first year, I had already spotted him at the DOST summer training. Well, I was  in a relationship that time and so was he so there were no expectations of anything that time. We're in our freshmen year that time when we were being teased about liking each other,  he never looked handsome to my eyes but he was nice and gentleman, that were his points. We went on being friends, share the same group of friends and go like usual barkadas, go out together with the group, hang out at the same places, do project works as a team and until one time, we were in our senior year and both of us were single. One of our buddies started teasing us again and unexpectedly, he was kind of making some efforts to be like someone that makes me think of him at night.

Scrapbook Layout Idea: Life is Full

I really miss scrapbooking, my schedule had been hindering me to make one these days. Maybe I just lack inspiration, gladly I got the chance to make up one today with the colored bubble inspired scrapbook lay out. I saw this inspiring paragraph as well from a specific site and I love it because it's super true. Life is full of everyday moments and adventures, embrace them.

Embracing life's adventures is indeed important in our lives, though we have challenges or maybe success, we have to face them with all courage and faith to the One above.

So hopefully, this will as well inspire you and give you the courage to face everyday's challenges. This is as well a free and will serve as my first Christmas gift to all you.

Scrapbook Layout Idea: The Kissing Cockatoo

When we were in Manila zoo last September, we came upon a small stall where friendly birds were staying. They call their part Angry Birds inspired from the famous angry bird game however, those birds were not angry though, instead they are the friendliest birds I met so far. And what so cute  about them was that they kiss!

Look at our faces in the pictures! We are definitely happy by the time the white Cockatoo kissed each of us. My mom wouldn't stop laughing too! And so I thought of making a scrapbook photo for us then with our kissing Cockatoo.

Scrapbook Layout Idea: Jesil + Bambie

Their special day was unforgettable, the function hall became a mystic place not just for the couple but also for every one who witnessed their wedding day. I, personally loved their theme, Country Side inspired by where Jesil come from, in Bukidnon. He grew as a country boy and left it for Luzon for his calling. They call their wedding a Blessing - they never thought they could get this type of wedding with so little budget in hand. Bambi told me the mason glasses were not bought but were just giveaways from their family friends and relatives. She herself spent days and months of cleaning them, brushing with steel brush so it would look brand new. I never thought those were simply mayo bottles! How resourceful they were!

The Love story - He likes her, she ignores him. He courted her, she left for Thailand. He left for Visayas, she started liking him. He pursued her, she started praying. He proposed and she said YES!

Scrapbook Layout Idea: We Fly Together

Extremely Excited - that was my emotions when we were on our way towards the Cebu Pacific Airplane bound to Manila last September 7, 2012. This will be James' and mine's first air travel. I definitely had completed the three ways of transportation, land, water and air! What's so nice about it was that I was with the ones I love, my family and James too!

Though we were not seated next to each other, it never stopped us to take our photos together. I am glad that we had to walk down to the plane because we had the chance to take a photo with the plane at our back.

Scrapbook Layout Idea: Wacky Aiesha

The last scrapbook page I had posted was like two months ago, Cupcake = Happiness. I know it was because of the Polka dot series I made last August which had extended until this month of September and that's why I am so excited to share some of what I had made recently.

And to start of, I have here the wacky photos of my niece, Aiesha so I named it Wacky Aiesha. She is a big girl now and is very talkative. Time swifts so fast that those dresses and shoes I gave her as a gift are now too small to her. She has learned many many funny things too. She can converse with me and anybody else now and she is just very bubbly. I have no dull moments when I am with her. 

BG: Polka Dot Circle O9

It's more than a week since my Manila Trip, I was thinking my scheduled posts were up to this week and was just surprised when I got to check this blog. It saddened me to see my previous post to be the eighth of the month. Anyways, I have to move on and keep up so I am now starting with this polka circle, this is by the way the last pack of my Polka circle series. I am just happy that I got to share all of them in nine series for the months of August and September!

So nonetheless, I present to you the final set! Hope you had enjoyed the whole series and keep updated with the future series which I will be sharing in the near future!

Polka Dot Circle O8

Second to the last! This is my second to the last and final set of Polka dot circle. I am excited and happy to be able to share this love to colorful stuff, scrapbook background images and I am hopeful you guys are able to make use of this things I had made for sharing. I truly believe that sharing is loving and this is the main proof that I truly believe what I am saying here

In this set, as usual it still has the four high resolution background images, Polka dots themed from Maroon to Purple colored polkas.

BG : Polka Dot Circle O7

I am now in Manila as you are reading this new entry, I had this pre-scheduled post so I won't be way too behind with this Polka Dot circle series. I promised that this would cover the month of August only but it looked like I am now way way beyond my promised time so I am making efforts in scheduling these posts for you guys.

What I like about this set is that they are of shades green and normally, I don't use green in Polkas because I don't see green as that fitting for polka designs but I was definitely wrong as soon as I found it nice to look at this set.

I had learned a lot of colors that are good at the polka design because of this series and I will be seeing and using them in the future!

BG: Polka Dot Circle O6

Almost done with my Polka Dot Circle Series and now I am excited on what would be my next series would be, I love to make some scrapbook lay out ideas too but I will be busy next week since the whole family is going to Manila for four days for my cousin's wedding. I haven't been to Manila, the country's capital city and never ever dreamed of going there. Gladly, if not because of this event I would never be able to get to the said city. But we will be staying in Laguna, they say it is a bit far yet I am quiet excited about it because we will be visiting a couple of tourists spots there like the Ocean Park, the Intramuros and Luneta Park and some more others. And oh! We are going to Enchanted Kingdom too and that's what I am most excited about.

So, I guess I will be idle for those days and next more days so as early as today, I am already saving and scheduling my posts for the Polka Circle series so to keep you updated as well until the series ends.

BG : Polka Dot Circle O5

It's September and here in the Philippines, it means it's the start of the Christmas season! Yes, if you're reading from the other end of the globe, you might have heard that our country is the only country which celebrates Christmas this long. And September is just a soft launch as others say.

I can hear carols now even at this day and I am hearing the radios playing Christmas songs too! The best thing about this season is the presents!

BG : Polka Dot Circle O4

Please don't think that I have already abandoned this site. I am thinking of posting each day but lately, I was very busy with my life and work that when I gets home, all I want to do is actually sleep. I missed scrap-booking as ever and I am looking forward to be making my next scrapbook lay out soon.

Man, I just wish I could actually split myself in two so I can do work and fun together at the same time. But as much as I would like to, I have no option but to do things one at a time. Thank God I got the time to post one today even if it is already late, I got awaken by some text messages though! Anyway, I am posting my polka dot Circle series four!
